Hi! This is my place on the web where I experiment, document and ultimately learn. For the past few years, organizing my to-do's, thoughts and projects has been in the form of Markdown based entries (which then end up in my Obsidian vault). And so it made total sense to have this website be powered by notes in Markdown format.

I live and work in the bustling San Francisco Bay Area. Each time I drive back home from a road trip, the portion of the drive back into the valley just puts me in awe. The mountains are quite majestic.

I currently work at Nvidia. Although I joined the company only recently, the name is all too known to me. I still remember as a kid asking my dad for some money to buy a 32MB GPU so I can play Need For Speed on my PC without lag.

My first job after finishing graduate school (Go Terps) was at a satellite internet provider. The backbone (a WAN) that moved packets around, bouncing them off the satellite before reaching the user facinated me a lot. This got me into distributed systems/software and its challenges.

Besides work I love to spend time with family and friends.
